Week 3 - CFL Regular Season Games 2011
CFL or the Canadian Football League is a popular professional sports league held in Canada. The CFL is considered as the highest level of competition in Canadian football, a form of gridiron football similar to American football. It's eight teams are demarcated into two divisons, which are situated in eight cities, of four teams each namely West Division and East Division. The CFL league's 19-week regular season continue form late June to early November, where each teams participate in 18 games with one by week. After the regular season, the three teams achieving the highest record in their division will have to compete in the league's three-weeks divisional palyoffs, which is culminate in the late November Grey Cup Chamionship, which is the country's largest annual sports and television event.
Officially CFL was founded in 1958.This is the most popular and famous league in Canada and considered as the highest level of play in Canadian Football. After the National Hockey League, this is the most popular sports league in Canada. Even though ice hockey is Canada's most popular sport, nevertheless less the CFL has dramatically increased the popularity of Canadian Football in Quebec and Western Canada.
